Elke Eckerstorfer in concert Sunday August 5th at 5 pm

In her second concert, Sunday August 5th at 5 pm Elke Eckerstorfer plays works by Heredia, Bach, Mozart, Saint-Säens, Sulzer, Brahms and Liszt (Präludium und Fuge über BACH).
Admission is 2500 ISK.

Eckerstorfer has received much recognition and prizes for her playing at
concerts that have brought her all over Europe and to Japan. She has
made many recording both for radio and for CD’s. One of them renders
the complete organ works of Balduin Sulzer, a composer and catholic
priest in Upper Austria. In St. Augustin in Vienna she recorded two CD’s
with the Austrian trumpetist Gernot Kahofer, Trumpet Voluntary and
Christmas Trumpet.

Besides being one of the organists at St. Augustin in Vienna, Elke
Eckerstorfer teaches at the University of Music in Vienna.
