The German conductor and organist, Arno Hartmann, received his first musical training in his home town of Duisburg, and afterwards in Düsseldorf. He studied at the University for Music in Vienna with e.g. Martin Haselböck and Michael Radulescu. He also participated in master-classes with e.g. Daniel Roth and Zubin Mehta. 1989‒1994 Arno Hatmann was organist and Stadtkantor of the Lutheran church in Vienna but in 2003 he became a full-time Musical director in the churches in the Bochum area and conductor of the Stadtkantorei Bochum. Arno Hatmann has given numerous concerts in Germany, in most countries of Europe and his first tour of the USA was in 2001. As a conductor Arno Hatmann has cooperated with e.g. the Göttingen Symphony, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Concert Choir. As conductor and organist Arno Hatmann paticipated in numerous broadcast transmissions in Austria (ORF), Italy (RAI) and France (TV 3). He had CD productions with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Concilium Musicum Wien and the Camerata & Capella Lutherana Wien.
